Fort Collins Craft Beer is plentiful! Currently at 23 craft breweries, and others looking to open it is hard to believe this city was once dry

Besides listing all the breweries below, with some fun facts I’ve created Google Fort Collins Craft Beer Map.

Coopersmith’s 

Est: 1989
Fun Fact: Over 150 different recipes produced to date so there is always something unique on tap.

DC Oakes Brewhouse

Est: 2017
Fun Fact: They have a Beer it Forward and it is based on the Pay It Forward philosophy.

Equinox Brewing

Est: 2010
Fun Fact: Live bands play in the beer garden or on small indoor stage Friday and Saturday evenings.

Funkwerks

Est: 2012
Fun Fact: In 2012, named the “Small Brewing Company of the Year” by The Great American Beer Festival.

Gilded Goat Brewing

Est: 2017
Fun Fact: The owner’s father has a doctorate in IT and was associate dean of graduate programs at the Colorado State University College of Business when it created its Beverage Business Institute to provide specialized management education and research for the beverage industry.

Horse and Dragon Brewing Co.

Est: 2014
Fun Fact: In 2016 they became an EPA Green Power Partner business.

Fun Fact: Craft beer brewed in high fidelity.

Jessup Farm Barrel House 

Est: 2015
Fun Fact: The Barrel House is housed in a 133-year-old, 3,000 square-foot restored barn

Maxline Brewing

Fun Fact:  Each employee does 6 hrs of volunteering at local non-profits and sustainable farms.

Mythmaker Brewing

Fun Fact: Two Fort Collins brewing industry veterans have teamed up to open their own brewery.

New Belgium Brewing Co. 

Est: 1991
Fun Fact: NBB is recognized as the 4th-largest brewer of craft beer in the nation.

Obstacle Brewing

Est: 2020
Fun Fact: M-Th they donate a portion of sales to help those in need Around FoCo.

Odell Brewing Co.

Est: 1989
Fun Fact: The first brewery pub in Fort Collins, opened by home brewer Doug Odell.

Prost Brewing

Est: 2016* (Comes to Fort Collins)
Fun Fact: Awarded the Gold Medal with their Weissbier at the GABF 2015.

Purpose Brewing & Cellars

Est: 2017
Fun Fact:  Started and run by New Belgium Brewing’s former brewmaster

Rally King Brewing

Est: 2015
Fun Fact: Matt (owner) has won over 85 home brewing awards since 2012

Ramskeller Brewpub

Est:  2018
Fun Fact: The 264-gallon brewing system at the Lory Student Center pub is the largest housed at any four-year university in the country. It can produce about 17 kegs per batch.

Salt Road Brewing

Est: 2023
Fun Fact:  The Salt Road or Alte Salzstraße was travelled by heavily guarded horse drawn wagons which carried small quantities of salt along these routes often accompanied by a cargo of beer.

Snowbank Brewing 

Est: 2014
Fun Fact: Beers are named after the Colorado landscape and made from Colorado snowmelt.

SweetWater Brewing

Est: 2021 (Fort Collins)
Fun Fact: Protecting waterways is a cause really close to thier hearts, because they can’t make good beer without good water.

Est: 2014
Fun Fact: Their concept came while traveling through the Czech Republic and Southern Germany.
